Curtiss Electric P-38 Lightning 1946 National Air Races Commemorative Airplane Propeller Blade

Authentic 1940's Curtiss Electric 88996-18 Left Handed Airplane Propeller Blade.

This was originally off a Lockheed P-38 Lightning Warbird.

THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND PIECE.

Freshly painted in black with orange tip and etched (not painted) artwork to commemorate the 1946 National Air Races (the 1st races post WWII that featured the great warbirds of WWII including the P-51 Mustang, P-63 Kingcobra, the F-5 and P-38 Lightning).

Propeller blade was welded onto a hub half after WWII to use in a windmill.  We cut bottom half of blade from this cuff and added a base to hold blade in place

Complete with Curtiss Electric Decal and Authentic 1946 National Air Race Ticket Stub. 

Blade with stand is 61 Inches Tall and 11 Inches at Widest Point
(Blade shown with a 36 inch Cessna blade for comparison)

Base is 7 inches in diameter
