This particular propeller appears to be covered with a some type of woven material. The engine type and aircraft model are unknown, though the center has four drilled holes. The brass plate reads 'REQUA GIBSON CO. 225 WEST 49TH STREET/ NEW YORK CITY./ PROPELLER NO. 79 0/TYPE REG L./ DIA. 7/ PITCH 5/ ROTATION R/ HAND' Measures just over 7' long x 8 1/2" wide at tips x 5 1/2" diameter at center and is in overall Excellent antique condition, minor nicks to the tips, beautiful coloring, please see all photos.

Requa Gibson was the first American propeller manufacturer, founded in 1909 and was headed by Canadian engineer Wallace R. Turnbull until they declared bankruptcy in 1911.
