1916 Curtiss Jenny JN4C Canuck WWI Paragon Scimitar Wooden Airplane Propeller

The holy grail of airplane propellers is here. The 52 Topps Mantle of Aviation.

Up for sale is a circa 1916 Paragon Scimitar wooden Mahogany? airplane propeller made for the Curtiss Canuck JN4C and the Curtiss Jenny JN4D during World War I. Used by both the US Army and the Royal Flying Corps.

This propeller measures 99 inches tip to tip. Has a hub width of 7 inches and a depth of 4 inches.

Markings include:
Side A
"Circle" Maybe AID C2
8-3" X 5.00
RIGHT HAND

Side B

"Circle" Can't make out
1857
"Square" with CA LTD and some number (CA LTD stands for Canadian Aeroplanes Limited)
65555
B.A. CORYN

Propeller is in great condition. 2 fantastic Paragon stampings on both blades. There are 2 holes where propeller was hung on wall. Slight lamination separation (can easily be repaired). One tip appears to be slightly different than the other.

These JN4C propellers didn't use Leading Edges. During WWI they didnt have time, they just needed to pump these propellers out the the airmen.

Happy to answer all questions. Thank You
