Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Front Engine Case Aviation Art Coffee Side Cocktail Table

The Pratt & Whitney R-2800 is considered one of the premier radial piston engines ever designed and is notable for its widespread use in many important American aircraft during and after World War II.

The R-2800 powered such airplanes as the Douglas DC-6, Douglas A-26 Invader, Grumman F6F Hellcat, Grumman F&F Tigercat, Grumman F8F Bearcat, Northrop P-61 Black Widow, Republic P-47 Thunderbolt and the Vought F4U Corsair.

This front case has been blasted to bare metal.  

Shows great patina from its time in the air during its flying days in 1940's

New Glass table top is 1/2 inches thick and 24 inches in diameter.

Case is 11 Inches High and the base is 18 1/2 Inches in Diameter. Total Table Height is 11 1/2 Inches High
